Data Controller: Shine Shine Apps, S.L.

Applicable Law: ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)), Spanish LSSICE (Art. 22.2), and GDPR (Art. 6(1)(a) for consent).

1. How We Use Tracking Technologies in Our App

Unlike websites, the HairSnap mobile application does not use browser-based "cookies" to track your activity. Instead, we use Software Development Kits (SDKs), mobile device identifiers, and local storage technologies embedded within the app code.

These technologies allow us to verify your session, understand how you interact with the app, and ensure secure operations.

2. Categories of Mobile Trackers We Use

Under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive / Art. 22.2 LSSICE, trackers are categorized as follows:

  • Strictly Necessary (Essential) Trackers: These are technical tools required to make the app function (e.g., maintaining your login session, securing API calls to our servers). These do not require your consent.
  • Analytics & Performance Trackers: These help us understand how users navigate the app (e.g., which buttons are clicked, crash logs, processing times). These require your prior, opt-in consent.
  • Marketing & Attribution Trackers: These measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and allow us to attribute installs from specific ad campaigns. These require your prior, opt-in consent.

3. App Tracking Transparency (ATT) & Consent

For iOS and Android devices, we respect your operating system's privacy controls:

  • iOS Devices (Apple ATT): We will ask for your permission via the Apple "App Tracking Transparency" prompt before tracking your activity across third-party apps or websites or accessing your IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers).
  • Android Devices: You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time via your device's system settings.

4. SDKs and Tracking Technologies in Use
